As you can see I'm having both avatar and banner at the moment so this doesn't really affect me. But on some forums I prefer not to use them, I want my posts to look simple, compact and give more attention to what I'm actually writing.

One solution is to fill avatar with background colour so it "disappears". The space is there though (if you write shorter message). I think I'm the only one bothered by this and at the moment I have avatar so I don't think you have to do anything about it. I'll come up with something if I change my mind.

No problem or anything, just a question out of curiosity: is that a new version of the café banner at the top? It looks fresh, possibly brighter with different text. Looks good

I thought I definitely remembered the text was a bit different the last time I visited the Café, but the banner still looked pretty much the same and the font didn't look very different either... My mind got totally confused, but well, it really does that very easily anyway.

I like this text better, as you probably guessed, Ella.

Another question about the banner. Does the whole banner show on your screens? On mine it's so long that Miss Olive always gets "cut off", i.e. I'll have to scroll sideways if I want to see the whole banner. But maybe it's because my screen resolution must be quite small. And you wouldn't believe for how long I didn't even know that Miss Olive was in the banner for that reason. I'm not the most perceptive of people, it seems.

Vbulletin has a draft-feature for blogs, which is very handy IMO. As long as the main sections are missing this feature, I´ll implement another solution. So from now on you will be able to compose text-messages with "Post Reply" and "New Thread" and hit "Save Draft" underneath to keep the message-outline alive, even if you are kicked out or forget to send the message for whatever reasons. Just visit the section again, where your draft was saved, hit "New Thread" or "Post Reply" again, and your saved draft will appear. If you discover issues, please let me know.
Every draft is saved for 24 hours and then will be purged by a daily automatic job. The draft-feature is not implemented for "Quick Reply" or private messages.
