I was watching the Golden Globes last night, and this moment made me a bit teary. A very heartfelt speech from Meryl after she won the best actress in a comedy or musical award (and beat herself to it - she was nominated for two different films in the same category lol ).

There was also a press conference afterwards if someone's interested. Loved that as well. She's so humble and normal it makes you forget that she's now the person with most Golden Globe nominations and wins - ever.

Yeah, seems like I'm still a crazy fangirl of hers, after all these years.

Aw, I'm so happy she won. I only saw the red carpet part where I didn't see her around but it was fun anyway. I taped the awards. So first thing at work this morning I checked who won and it made my day!

Her speech is awesome and the press conference too! And am I getting blind or does she look younger everytime I see her?? She looks SO GREAT, how is that possible?

I love, love LOVE seeing a woman age with such beauty and graciousness. I wish I had her grace and wit. She is a wonderful actress, which I utterly adore, she is always perfect in every role I've seen her in. Francesca in "The bridges of Madison County" really broke my heart!

Oh yes, I've thought so too lately: she looks very radiant these days. Maybe it's something to do with being more relaxed and just being herself, I don't know. And definitely the blond, long hair suits her really well. Plus she's worn some stylish outfits lately. I hope it's not a curse - remember last year's SAG awards and her not having even bought a dress? Anyway, I just love her natural look. She doesn't need to pretend to be anything else than what she is.

Aw, I know what you mean MiPiaceJake. That film is one of those that always breaks my heart, no matter how many times I've seen it. And I always wish she would somehow be able to choose differently in the end and then I get upset that she actually doesn't. I really should get back to watching her films, it's been a while since I watched any from beginning to end.
