Maybe! I was rambling on, not really sure what I was saying! Poor guy, wonder if he will ever actually use his card now, or he might just avoid the library and the crazy lady all tighter now!

Sophy that is so unreal!!! Cool moment.

Kristy...hehe poor guy. Maybe he didn't like his name either...

My Dr. Quinn moment isn't really a moment, but at the moment I'm writing an essay about Mary Wollstonecraft and Lord Byron. Unfortunately this Byron is very strange and not very good-looking...lol

My DQ moment of the day: I was and still am browsing the itunes store (and spending quite some money there ) when I came across Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. It's available as a podcast -for free (at least sth.) and I just had to have it. Looking forward to listening to it.

Oh these little Dr. Quinn "references" are really funny when they just come up totally unexpected and you can't help but think about the tv series even if the original thing didn't have anything to do with it.

Well, I had another moment with the same shirt last week!
I was at a course in Stockholm for three days with 10 more people I had never met. Very interesting and informative! At the course was a woman who's first words to me was about my Pikes Peak shirt! She said - excuse me I have to ask about your shirt - have you been to that place, because I was, and I went up that mountain! Then she said, like in that show - dr Quinn! WOAAA!!! She said she was also a fan of the show. Apparently she's going back to Colorado and to Pikes Peak later this year. Amazing coincidence!
I mentioned the forum and my second dr Quinn-moment she just gave me connected to the same shirt. LOL!
You will laugh when I tell you this story of my most recent Dr. Quinn moment.

A couple of weeks ago I was having dinner with my family and my mother said something quite interesting. She's a LPN which is a nurse that can't practice outside of New York State. She takes care of an 80 year-old woman from Sweden. According to my mother she has been to Pike's Peak and lived in Colorado for a while and loved it but had to move to our state due to her age.

I know it's probably not the same person but isn't it ironic that we had similar DQ like encounters?

I had a Dr Quinn moment a few days ago. I was switching trains at the subway in Stockholm when I noticed that the person walking in front of me was wearing a backpack with a small logo of a mountain and the text "Pike's Peak". It immediately got me smiling and I kept doing that throughout the rest of the subway ride

On Friday, as my bus went past the church, I noticed the Bible passage on the noticeboard:
(By posting this I'm not aiming to patronise or indoctrinate anyone; I'm posting because the passage has a DQ link! )

1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
...........
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance

Ecclesiastes 3, A Time for Everything

Which I couldn't help thinking was what Olive quoted in The Prisoner, when she persuaded the Reverend not to call off the Hurdy Gurdy!

Yaaay

I watched that episode again today and I was struck by that verse. Funny you should mention it.

What a cool DQ moment. With a life lesson thrown in

On hold with the Mayo Clinic and I heard the music that was being played in the concert that was being held in the White House during "The Washington Affair".

My Hubby woke up the other night with a massive Tension Migraine so I was up with him for a few hours. The next morning I was still half asleep but was telling him that he was to stay home from uni and not go on the laptop or play Xbox...he rolled over and told me I was being a bossy boots and that i was like Dr Quinn...I didnt know whether to be happy or insulted...lol.
