Count me in to those who love ABBA's music and want to see the movie!

I haven't seen the musical on stage, only outtakes of it on TV and was very impressed at how good the songs actually sound in German (something I seriously doubted at first, LOL).

I'm just afraid I'll have to wait until it's out on DVD and wait "a little" longer until the DVD gets cheaper.

I'll have to second you, Soph!!!! It's going to be sooooo greaaaaaaaat!!!!!!

All those cool scenes (what's with the drill???? LOL

). I won't be able to watch it without having a minor heart attack... I can't wait to hear ALL the songs, because now they cut them off just before the best parts. And of course The Winner Takes It All wasn't even included in the trailer...sniff sniff... I'm sure that one will pretty much finish me.

I think this deserves a few Pierces (and doesn't he look GOOD in the trailer?!

)

Apparently there have been screenings and I've read reviews from some of them who saw it, and they have soooo much positive reactions, feels good to know that people already love the movie so much.

I'm getting a bit hyper!!!!! I really really need to see this film soooooon. The Winner Takes It All is going to be the last of me, I'm telling you. I can't even start to imagine it.

When I play the musical version it always gives me goosebumbs! It's such a strong song and perfect for that moment in the musical(or movie)

Oh yes, I can imagine myself just paralysed in the cinema chair almost starting to melt down on the floor when it's "The Winner Takes It All".

I hear Pierce sings alittle bit bad in his songs... hehe

I think paralysed is probably the right word to describe it.

I've actually never seen the musical, so it will all be sort of like a surprise for me. But I think it will be nice this way as well!

Hehe, so Pierce isn't singing all that marvelously? Somehow I just can't imagine him singing at all, but I guess he must be an okay singer to have been cast for this. I wonder if he will have a dance number with Colin and Stellan...

It´s sooo powerfull and there aren´t even images with it. In the musical it gave me tears and everytime I play the cd it gets to me. I´m sure when it´s played in the movie I need tissues....

A cinema near here is having a Ladies Night and they are playing Sex and teh city and Mamma Mia!!Of course I´m going!!! Just need a baby sitter LOL

I saw one of the trailers when I was at the cinema yesterday. I tried not to scream aloud.

It sure looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.

I still haven't quite recovered from hearing the full version of The Winner Takes It All. That last "shouting" note Meryl Streep belts out is just something amazing. I didn't even know she had it in her to be able to do that. Total surprise. Be prepared, Sophy!!!!

Mireille, I haven't seen the musical, but I remember liking this particular ABBA song so much since I first heard it years ago. There's just something very touching about the melody I think. I have a feeling the scene with it will be very powerful. Yay!
