Viewing those videos of Preston has made me wonder whatever happened to this talented actor. To be able to play such a complex character so well leads me to believe that there must be another great role for him out there, but his last credit is from 1999. It looks like he's still involved with the Bootleg Theatre in LA, but surely TV is due for his return.

You are right he was talented. Being able to portray two different characters in the series and giving them so different personalities, I don't associate Custer to Preston at all. In fact I didn't know it was the same actor until I read that.

I've wondered where Jason was too. Hope he shows up in something fairly soon...he did such a good job playing Preston!

Yes a talented actor, as Jane mentions in the "For Better or Worse" commentary: he was so good that we had to have him in the series

It’s very sad that he’s no longer in the public media, doing film & television, but Jason is very busy though as producing director at his theater and also running the firm Alumina Design LLC.

I do wish he would return to screen someday. It would be lovely to see him reprise a role in a periodic setting with fancy cloth

That cover is nice. You know, I like how they soften his features when he played Benyan. It makes you realize how attractive he is.

Hmm there's no new play announced since there last one, the western "Stranger", which I think had it's last show July 25th 2009.
